The math nobody likes

Every flood starts as something small.

We fix the small things on a Tuesday afternoon, so hopefully you never meet the big thing on a Saturday night.

What it is
A worn-out $8 flapper
What it becomes

A toilet that runs all night. The average home’s leaks waste more than 9,300 gallons of water a year, and toilets are a usual suspect.

Flat-rate shops typically charge $135–$225 just for basic flapper or fill valve work.
What it is
A little sediment
What it becomes

That popping and rumbling from your water heater is sediment cooking on the bottom of the tank. It costs efficiency and years of tank life.

A one-time professional flush: $75–$150 for a tank, $150–$350 for tankless.
Source:HomeGuide
What it is
A dripping faucet
What it becomes

One drip per second adds up to more than 3,000 gallons a year. Drip, drip, drip, straight down the drain with your money.

Just getting a plumber to your door usually runs $50–$200 before any work starts.
What it is
A stuck shut-off valve
What it becomes

You find out it’s seized the day you actually need it, usually with water on the floor. We open and close every one, every visit.

The worst time to find out is during an emergency call.

Finally.

A plumbing maintenance plan that actually maintains your plumbing.

A lot of plans are a clipboard and a flashlight. Ours comes with parts. We replace the flappers, fill valves and washers that wear out (and on Gold, the supply lines and hoses) on a schedule, before they fail.

Pick your level of peace

Three plans. Zero fine print.

You don’t live in an average house, so you don’t get an average price. Every plan is built around your home.

Water Heater

For the hardest-working appliance you never think about.

starting at
$9/mo
+ one-time first visit from $166
  • Yearly flush (tank) or descale (Navien tankless)Sediment and scale make a heater work harder and wear out sooner.

  • Safety check: relief valve, venting, gas, expansion tankThe parts that keep a water heater from becoming a hazard.
  • Relight and temperature checkHot enough to be useful, not hot enough to scald.

How it works

Easier than finding your water shut-off.

(Which, by the way, we’ll show you.)

1

Tell us about your home

Your info, then a quick count of toilets, sinks and faucets.

2

Pick your plan

See every plan priced to your house. Choose the one that fits and lock in your price.

3

We handle it every year

Your first visit catches everything up. After that, one checkup a year in the month you pick: we check everything, replace the wear parts and tell you what we found.

Questions people actually ask

No. It’s maintenance: our crew shows up once a year, checks everything on your plan and replaces the wear parts on schedule. Anything else we find, we show you and give you a ballpark. Repairs are time and material with your member discount, and nothing happens without your OK. Everything we do, including plan work, carries our standard 1-year warranty on the work.

Because your price is built for your house, not an average house. Your contact info lets us save your home’s details, answer questions and check that you’re in our service area.

Anytime. It’s month to month. We’d rather earn you every month than trap you.

We review rates once a year, on January 1st, and we’ll tell you before anything changes.

Because it’s two things at once: a full year of maintenance done right away, plus new parts that last for years, like a new fill valve and flapper in every toilet (and a new anode rod if the water heater is on your plan). We tag and photograph every fixture and give you a written report. After that, your monthly covers next year’s checkup. You see the exact breakdown before you sign up.

Yes. You can start with just the monthly, and we begin at your first checkup (at least 9 months out). Just know that it’s preventative maintenance, not a warranty: wear parts get replaced on a schedule over time, not all at once, and anything already worn out, or anything that needs more work, is done at time and material with your member discount. Your member discount starts after that first checkup, and all our work carries a 1-year warranty.

You pick the month when you sign up. Your first checkup is at least 9 months after your first visit, and later than a year is fine if that month works better for you. Or leave it to us and we’ll get it done before your first year is up. After that it’s the same month every year, and we text you a few weeks ahead to set the day.

A little. Softened water eats regular anode rods fast. So if you have a softener, we put a powered (titanium) anode in your water heater on the first visit. It never wears out, and your monthly price comes down because there’s no rod to keep replacing.

Happens all the time. We count everything on the first visit and adjust. Extra fixtures only add a little.

If it isn’t listed in your plan, it isn’t included. Repairs and replacements we find are done at time and material with your member discount. We give you a ballpark first, and nothing happens without your OK.

Yes, an adult needs to be home. Clear under the sinks and give us a path to the water heater and we’ll handle the rest.

Tulsa and the surrounding area. If you’re farther out, we’ll tell you before you sign up, not after.

We’ve been doing this a long time. Your bathroom is fine. Probably.

Pay a little every month,
or pay a plumber at 2 a.m.

(Honestly, we’d rather see you on a Tuesday.)

I called Matt Wise early today on Sunday morning with a water issue. He contacted Jerry his team member to make sure Jerry was available. Matt called me back in 3 minutes and Jerry was available. He arrived by 9am, diagnosed the situation and performed the necessary work. I had Jerry also do some additional preventive maintenance while here! Kudos to the Wise Plumbing team for this emergency run. Matt’s company is young, but they are professional, experienced and thorough. Give them the opportunity to help you and you will be a satisfied customer like me!

This is the 4th job I’ve had Wise Plumbing perform at my house. They’ve also performed a number of small jobs at my rental property. Wise plumbing is now my go-to for all plumbing concerns. This time: Located and fixed sewer smell in the bathroom. So very grateful to be finished with that smell. Jerry was professional and helped us understand every step of the way. Great looking van with Einstein? on the side. Highly recommend. Previously worked with Jordan and Matt on: electric tankless hot water heater install. Whirlpool tub install. Multiple toilet installs. New pool bath rough-in and fixture install. And more. See pictures.

I am so thankful for Wise. I was able to get an appointment extremely fast after finding a large puddle under my sink which turned out to be a multiple leak situation in my slab. The guys got there early and stayed until they checked every last joint was sealed. I couldn't be happier with the service.

Wise repaired a gas line leak in my yard on very old pipe. It was a very difficult job but the crew would not give up. The work also had to be coordinated with the city inspector. They completed the work in the am and then returned when the inspector came to assure that there were no issues. I had the gas off to the house all week and they were determined to do what it took to get it restored. Also, Wise is one of the few plumbers that charge on an hourly basis. You pay only for what work was really needed. Most plumbing companies charge a set price for each job, pricing the work high to cover every potential unexpected problem/cost. Wise's final cost was about 1/3 of the quote that one of the :fixed price" plumbing companies quoted. I will only use Wise Plumbing in the future.

Absolutely. For Google Maps, I’d make it more concise and review-focused: I had Wise Plumbing out today and had a great experience. Matthew, the owner, was professional, knowledgeable, and very focused on doing the job right without trying to upsell unnecessary work. I’ve spent about 15 years in construction, maintenance, and the trades, so I pay attention to workmanship, communication, and how a company treats its customers. Wise Plumbing impressed me on all three. Matthew also took the time to talk through the work and made it clear that quality, fair pricing, and long-term customer relationships matter to him. That stood out. Based on my experience today, Wise Plumbing is a company I would use again at home and professionally. Highly recommended.

Came out promptly, explained all work done, and provided supplementary knowledge to prevent one of our issues from popping up in the future. I'm very satisfied with the service provided and I'm glad that my property management company called them out.

Called tonight on a Saturday night...we had sewage backed up into our bathtubs and shower...Mr. Wise answered the phone and I had an emotional breakdown on the phone with him...(It's been a long week...ac went out earlier this week)..he was so nice to me and let me have my moment and didn't hang up on some crazy lady crying... He was very caring and sent Jordan out to help right away. Then Jordan listened to my ramblings and why I had my breakdown and was so nice and fixed it quickly! The price was reasonable for an after hours/weekend rate! I definitely found a caring company who showed compassion for this momentarily emotional momma...I will use them for future issues(hopefully I'm not crying then..sorry!). Thank you both for listening, being patient and helping my little family! It means more than you probably know. God bless you both!

I would consider using Wise plumbing again. They were prompt and the repair was completed properly. I had an unusual experience that keeps me from giving more than four stars, but I think it unlikely to be a normal occurrence. The full story: After moving to the Tulsa area in early summer, one of our toilets was leaking sewer gas around the flange. I called Wise plumbing and made an appointment. They were prompt and came the next day. The journeyman plumber was unavailable, so an apprentice completed the repairs. The toilet flange was too low due to a tiled floor, and the old wax ring was deteriorated. The apprentice planned to double stack two wax rings, but later said his journeyman had told him to instead use an extra-thick wax ring to fix the issue. He left to purchase the part supplies and returned shortly. After setting the toilet, he told me the bolts weren't long enough, and I believe he left again to purchase longer bolts. So, the toilet was removed and reset again for the longer bolts. The apprentice was polite and seemed capable. I approved whatever repair he felt was appropriate for the situation. While I was hopeful the issue had been resolved, we found that sewer gases were still leaking. I called Wise plumbing back about four to six weeks after the first repair. They were prompt with their appointment and made the necessary repairs. This time a journeyman removed the old toilet flange and installed a taller flange that would sit level with the flooring. He had to leave at least once during the appointment for tools and supplies. I was happy to have the situation resolved and no longer have sewer gases in our home. I manage a number of rental homes and have quite a lot of experience dealing with contractors. We have a good relationship with our contractors and always pay them promptly for their services. I bring this up, because what follows next is a situation that I've never before encountered. As the plumber was completing repairs, I asked if there would be a reduction in the cost of repairs since the first repair did not fix the issue -- a simple and reasonable question. I was then told that a warranty repair would be void because another contractor had worked on the toilet. I kindly informed the plumber that we had only been living in the home a few months and they were the only contractors that had been in the home. No one had removed the toilet between their services. He claimed a plastic horn was installed on the flange, and that part is not something their company is allowed to install because it can cause issues. Furthermore, their pictures of the previous repair did not have that part installed. I told the journeyman plumber of the events that took place with the apprentice. He accused me of lying, although in a polite and roundabout manner. He said he would discuss the issue with the owner and get back to me. A few days later, I received an invoice that included a warranty credit. However, the invoice did state, "Due to previous work performed by another plumbing company, our findings and documentation do not align with the prior installation. As a result, any warranty on the affected portion of the plumbing system is void, as we cannot guarantee or verify the quality or compliance of the previous work." Although I was happy with the repair and satisfied with the invoice, it was incredibly frustrating and upsetting to be accused of lying. I later called the owner to discuss the situation. He was polite and apologetic. I did not get the sense that he believed me, but the situation was resolved. Things happen, especially when younger, less experienced employees are involved, but I would still recommend Wise.
